The Winner!
We're proud to announce that the winner of the Liberty BASIC Browser contest is "LB Lite Browser v1.1" by Kevin Agorastos (Sid). His browser has many clever and useful features, such as toolbar buttons for news and weather sites and a search button. This contest was held recently at [http://libertybasic.conforums.com]. The rules and guidelines are listed at the bottom of this page.
Since all of the browsers had great features, we're including all of them in the zipped archive of this issue, along with the LBbrowse3.DLL. I've also included my own non-entry, called awbrowse.bas.
Rules:
- Contest begins today, February 4, 2006.
- Contest ends on Saturday, March 11, 2006.
- Upload entries to the Internet board at the File Depot. You can update your entry at any time, up until the deadline. [http://www.lbdownloads.com/files/viewforum.php?f=5&sid=93134b6f92c3246446bc2d5cf7e9d8f1]

- The winning entry will be featured in issue #143 of the Liberty BASIC Newsletter. This is the eighth anniversary issue!
- You'll need a browser control. There are two free browser controls that work with LB listed here: [http://basic.wikispaces.com/browser] You can download Doyle's browser control on that page, or you can get one from Alyce's Restaurant, here: [http://alycesrestaurant.com/lbbrowse.htm] You can use any other browser control you can find, as long as the license allows it to be distributed free with your application.
